CROSS LINKED HYALURONIC ACID

Dermal fillers instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away deep lines and facial creases. Results are immediate with minimal downtime. This non-surgical technique will help restore your natural beauty quickly, safely, and effectively. Dr. DiMeola, a physician with extensive training in advanced filler technique, masterfully creates subtle, yet dramatic results.

What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are used to reduce or eliminate wrinkles, raise superficial lines or scar depressions, enhance certain features and replace soft-tissue volume loss. Dermal fillers restore youthful contours and proportions.
Most fillers used today consist of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a material naturally present in the body. Hyaluronic acid keeps the skin plump and hydrated. The hyaluronic acid found in dermal fillers is cross-linked to ensure stability. Dermal fillers vary in molecular size and by the amount of cross-linking. Product thickness and lasting ability are affected by these characteristics, which is why certain dermal fillers are preferred with specific patients and/or treatment areas.
What can Dermal Fillers Treat?
Expert Physician-Injector, Dr. Ashley DiMeola uses dermal fillers for the following applications:
- smooth out lines around the nose and mouth (marionette lines, smile lines)
- enhance and restore volume to sunken cheeks or temples
- diminish vertical lip lines
- plump and enhanced lips
- non-surgical rhinoplasty
- jawline rejuvenation
- chin augmentation
- enhance shallow contours
- decrease or remove the shadow of undereye
- smooth chin wrinkles
- rejuvenate hands
Dermal fillers are often used in conjunction with Botox or Dysport. Dermal fillers may also be used to treat asymmetry and deformities caused by medical conditions, such as Bell’s Palsy.

Cheek Enhancement & Cheek Fillers
What Are Cheek Enhancements and Fillers?
Cheek enhancement in Burlington, Vermont involves procedures aimed at augmenting the volume, definition, and overall appearance of the cheeks. One common method is through the use of dermal fillers, known as cheek fillers. These fillers consist of hyaluronic acid (HA) or other substances that are injected into specific areas of the cheeks to add volume, contour, and lift.
Hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that attracts moisture, is specifically formulated for deep injection to restore volume to the cheeks, providing a lifted and contoured appearance. HA fillers are versatile, offering natural-looking results and the ability to be adjusted or dissolved if necessary.
Good Candidates for Cheek Enhancement
Ideal candidates for cheek enhancement and fillers are individuals seeking to address volume loss in their cheeks, improve facial contours, or restore youthful fullness. Those with realistic expectations and good overall health often achieve the best results. However, contraindications may include individuals with active skin infections, allergies to filler components, or certain medical conditions that could pose risks during the procedure.
Consultation: What to Expect
During your consultation for non-surgical cheek enhancement, Dr. Ashley Dimeola will discuss your goals, assess your facial structure, and recommend the most suitable treatment plan. We’ll address any concerns, outline the procedure details, and review potential risks to ensure you’re well-informed before making any decisions.
The Cheek Enhancement Procedure
The procedure involves a series of precise injections into targeted areas of the cheeks. Dr. Dimeola and her team use advanced techniques to administer the fillers, carefully sculpting and shaping the cheeks to achieve natural-looking results. The process is generally quick and performed in-office, with minimal discomfort and no downtime required.
Aftercare and Recovery
Following the procedure, you may experience slight swelling or mild bruising, which typically subsides within a few days. It’s recommended to avoid strenuous activities and certain medications that may increase bruising. Our specialists will provide specific post-procedure instructions tailored to your needs to ensure optimal healing and results.
Cost of Cheek Fillers
The cost of cheek fillers in Burlington varies based on factors such as the type of filler used, the amount required, and individual treatment plans. The overall price may be impacted by follow-up treatments and additional procedures performed.
Chin + Jawline Enhancement
BUILD, SCULPT, DEFINE.
Non-surgical shaping of the jawline and chin offers patients subtle changes to the size, shape, and projection of the chin without surgery. Dermal fillers are used to temporarily improve asymmetry and irregularities, add volume and shape or even to smooth dimples.
Dr. DiMeola customizes each treatment, taking desired outcomes and unique anatomy into consideration.
Liquid Rhinoplasty Benefits
A liquid rhinoplasty is a good option for people who want to enhance their nose without undergoing surgery. This means no incisions, no scars, and a greatly reduced chance of complications.
Since liquid rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers, the results are visible right away. No recovery time is needed, so patients can resume regular activities immediately after the treatment.
It also provides the benefit of experiencing nasal enhancement that is not permanent, which can serve as a way to “preview” the results of a permanent procedure like rhinoplasty. If patients decide that liquid rhinoplasty results are not right for them, dermal fillers naturally dissolve in the body in six to 18 months.
Am I a Good Candidate for Liquid Rhinoplasty?
Liquid rhinoplasty is ideal for candidates with a drooping nasal tip, a nasal hump, or various nasal asymmetries. The best candidates are individuals who want to improve the dimensions of the nose without surgery.
Liquid rhinoplasty is recommended for people who do not want to experience downtime. This treatment is also an excellent option for patients who want to try out temporary nasal enhancement.
What to Expect During a Liquid Rhinoplasty Session
A liquid rhinoplasty is considered one of the many “lunchbreak treatments.” The session can be as quick as 15 minutes! The process involves carefully and precisely injecting small amounts of a chosen filler into key areas of the nose.
Is Liquid Rhinoplasty Painful?
Liquid rhinoplasty is not painful. Numbing cream can be applied before the dermal filler injections. Many fillers also contain a local anesthetic to make the treatment comfortable.
Lip Enhancement & Lip Fillers
What are Lip Fillers?
Lips are one of the most defining facial features; they are often the first thing the eye is drawn to. With that in mind, many people want to add volume and plumpness to their lips without having to use excess makeup or undergo surgery. At GLOWAESTHETICS, Dr. DiMeola performs lip injections utilizing hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally produced by the body that diminishes as we age. Fillers like Juvederm and Restylane allow us to restore or enhance volume in the lips. The results are natural-looking and long-lasting.
Lip Enhancement may be for you if:
- You want to fill in lines in the lips
- You want to change the shape of your lips
- Your lips have lost volume and texture with age
- You wish to add hydration and smoothness to your lips
How Does Hyaluronic Acid Work in Lip Fillers?
Hyaluronic acid bonds with water molecules in the skin tissues. This volumizes the injected area. A lip filler should be injected by a trained professional to achieve the best results.
What to Expect During a Lip Enhancement Treatment
During your consultation, Dr. DiMeola will examine the shape, size, and texture of your lips. Depending on your aesthetic goals, we will decide whether a product from the Juvederm or Restylane family is the best filler option for you. Furthermore, depending on the amount of enhancement you wish, she may use a different amount of product, though most patients only require one syringe.
The actual procedure takes 15-45 minutes. We will ensure your comfort. Please arrive 30 minutes before your treatment if you wish to use a topical anesthetic. Dr. DiMeola may also administer a dental block per request. Dr. DiMeola will inject the lips to achieve your desired outcome. Following the injections, she may massage your lips to ensure product is properly distributed.
Results from lip injections with fillers are apparent immediately. Though you may experience some initial swelling, this usually subsides within a few days of the initial treatment. Depending on the product used and the amount, results last anywhere from 6 months to a year. At this time, we always recommend following up with a touch up treatment to maintain and prolong your results.
What Is Eye Rejuvenation?
Eye rejuvenation brightens and refreshes the areas surrounding the eyes. It reduces the issues caused by sun exposure, thinning skin, and repeated facial expressions. It aims to give you a rested, bright-eyed look for a more youthful appearance.
The best candidates for eye rejuvenation include people who have darkening or hollowing under the eyes but still have enough skin elasticity and thickness for natural eye augmentation.
Your Eye Rejuvenation Consultation
During the consultation, we will check the thickness and texture of the skin in the eye area to check if you are a suitable candidate. If you are, we will determine what dermal fillers or neuromodulators to use.
We will answer your questions, explain the procedure, and give you instructions on what to do before and after the treatment.
The Treatment Session
We use dermal fillers and neuromodulators to provide eye rejuvenation. The assessment during the consultation will help us determine how many injections are needed to achieve your aesthetic goals.
The dermal fillers can add volume to the hollowed parts and reduce the appearance of visible vessels. Neuromodulators like Botox help address fine lines and wrinkles in the eyes’ outer corners.
There is no downtime needed after getting eye rejuvenation. You will be able to go right back to your everyday activities without any need for recovery.
You may experience some bruising, swelling, or redness after the treatment, but these will disappear after a few days.
The Cost of Eye Rejuvenation
The cost of getting eye rejuvenation varies based on the treatment used. The number of injections needed and the amount of product used can also affect the overall price.

Depending on the treatment area and THE amount of product being used, the actual procedure may take 15-45 minutes. With Dr. DiMeola’s attentiveness and care, most patients report little discomfort. For additional patient comfort, we are happy to offer an anesthetic cream (please arrive 30 minutes before your treatment) and dental blocks, if needed. Most patients resume regular activities following their dermal filler appointment (except lip enhancement, which may result in 1-2 days of swelling).
Dermal Fillers Results
Several factors contribute to a dermal filler’s longevity. Such influences include the filler consistency, the area of the face where it is injected, and the speed at which the patient’s body metabolizes. On average, dermal fillers last between 6-18 months. Once desired results are achieved, touch-up treatments may be necessary. It is recommended at the time of your treatment to schedule your next appointment for optimal anti-aging benefits.
